Our mark

The story behind the logo

A steady reference point to regain footing, reset, and build upward.

The Re-Launch benchmark mark

Origin and metaphor

Across the UK and Ireland, a survey benchmark is the permanent mark used to figure out exact positioning and measure height. When someone goes through a redundancy, they do not need empty motivational quotes. They need a steady starting point. This symbol acts as that fixed reference, giving people a stable place to figure out their worth and plan what comes next.

Clear direction

Instead of relying on standard corporate arrows or tech clichés, the upward lines show steady progress and elevation. In the logo the shape is rounder, softer, warmer and has wings shaped like a bird. Just like a swift. A swift uses a sudden drop in altitude to catch the wind and launch into flight, turning a feeling of falling into a much higher trajectory.

Warm and welcoming

Traditional survey marks can feel cold and industrial. We softened the geometry with smooth curves to make the mark approachable, while keeping its confident authority. That same warmth carries through into a fresher, more saturated colour palette and a clean sans serif font with friendly, rounded details.

Built by people who have sat on both sides of the table

When the news lands, the room changes instantly. You hear corporate phrases like restructuring or transition, but all you really feel is the ground dropping out from under you. Most people spend years building an identity around their work, only to find themselves walking out the door with a box and a quiet panic about what comes next.

We know that feeling intimately because we have sat on both sides of that table. We have lived through the sudden drop.
